Welcome to Pick My Electives

Benefits to our software:

- Uses next year's SASI data, which includes incoming 6th grade students; no need for providing passwords to students, or having an InTouch account/password.

- Program filters out elective choices by GPA and grade level. Ectives that require a certain GPA will not be seen by students that do not qualify; and, students will only see electives that apply to their grade level.

- Course catalog can be downloaded in a PDF file so that students/parents can review.

- Supplemental materials can be downloaded to assist with registration e.g., information on how to log-in which can be used as a flyer for mailing to parents or given to students during registration.

- Teachers make recommendations for academic placement electronically to assist with counselor placement.

- Elective teachers make recommendations for placement in programs e.g., inter./advanced band, orchestra; parents and students will see what the teacher has recommended.

- Data is exported into an excel file so that the counselors have everything available for placement in courses i.e., teacher recommendations for placement in electives and academic courses; students' 1st, 2nd, and 3rd elective choices, and stanine scores; also, included in the data base for incoming 6th graders, you will be able to see what elementary school students are coming from.

- Counselors & administrators can see at all times how many students have used the system, and a tally of how many students have selected each elective; also, counselors can see who has not registered so that clean-up can be done during or following the open registration period.

- Parents/students have to agree to any fees before an elective can be added.

- Additional/specific site information can be posted e.g., dates when registration will close; parent night information, or other upcoming registration events, when schedules will be available for pick-up or review.
